OAR has been running the Ocoee River since 1977. We’re the largest outfitter on the river, have the most certified guides, and the most five-star reviews. But the thing we’re most proud of? We’re still a family business and we treat our guests like family too.

Our Guides & Training Philosophy
Ask any OAR guest what made their trip, and nine times out of ten the answer is their guide. We planned it that way.
- Every OAR river guide holds WFR (Wilderness First Responder), Professional CPR, Swiftwater Rescue certifications

Our 21-acre riverside property on the lower Ocoee River is a full outdoor basecamp, the kind of place you arrive at Friday afternoon and don’t want to leave until Sunday.
Bunkhouse cabins sleep groups of 16 to 32, with firepits, grills, and kitchenettes. Forested campground has tent sites with direct river access. Tubing takeout lands you right back on the property.
